Welcome to Paws ‘n’ Hooves – a secure and safe dog paddock and pony exercise track.
Our dog walking field is booked exclusively for your use during the period.
Based at Sevenstones on the main A390 Callington to Gunnislake road, we offer a secure paddock(approx 1 acre) surrounded by 6′ deer fencing (with very narrow “rabbit proof” holes) for you to let your dogs run and play off the lead without worry.
Bookings are for 45 minute sessions with a 10 minute buffer zone. You need to have left the field within 55 minutes of arrival. This means there should be no meeting at the entrance with incoming traffic.
Please be aware you will be driving over a cycle lane/footpath, while neither driver nor cyclist/pedestrian has right of way, please be considerate; after all we’re nice we live in Cornwall.
Access to the paddock is via the pedestrian gate by the field shelter, secured with a coded padlock. The code is sent via text at least 1 hour prior to your appointment.
We accept payment via PayPal or major credit cards via MOLLIE.
We will be offering a secure pony exercise area around the outside of the dog field in the near future, aimed at ponies under 13hh and young/new riders who need to build their confidence.
Currently we are a “work in progress” so ideas and feedback are gratefully received: though we plan to offer a minimalist field so your dogs can really run about.
There is a strict “3 strikes and you’re out” policy regarding poo picking/removal, with wildlife cameras to catch repeat offenders. No one wants to walk in dog waste or their dog eating it and I don’t want it flicked in my face when mowing.
