Welcome to Paws ‘n’ Hooves – a secure and safe dog paddock surrounded by a pony exercise track (which will not be in use during your hire of the paddock).
Our dog paddock is booked exclusively for your use during the period; please feel you can invite friends and their dogs to share the space, simply choose the number of dogs coming. Parking is restricted to 2 Cars. Extra cars can park in the Sevenstones Lay-by about 300 metres towards Kit Hill.
We’re based at Sevenstones on the main A390 Callington to Gunnislake road (entrance at What3Words ///purchaser.monks.blanking), the secure paddock (approx 1 acre) is surrounded by 6′ deer fencing (with very narrow gaps) allowing your dogs run and play off the lead securely.
Gravel grids are laid in all areas cars are expected and rubber mats in pedestrian entrance.
Summer bookings are for 45 minute sessions with a 10 minute buffer zone.
Winter bookings November/December/January/February are 30 minutes with a 10 minute buffer.
Please arrive and exit within the your “hour”. This means reactive dogs should not be frightened and there should be no meeting at the entrance with incoming traffic.
Please be aware you will be driving over a cycle lane/footpath so be aware and considerate… “inch out”; after all we’re nice we live in Cornwall.
The paddock is accessed via the secure parking area, through a pedestrian gate by the field shelter (secured with a coded padlock). The code is sent within your reminder email 1 hour prior to your appointment…..unless you’ve booked within an hour of arrival, in which case please telephone me.
We accept payment via PayPal or major credit cards via MOLLIE.
We also offer a secure pony track around the outside of the dog field, aimed at ponies under 13hh and young/new riders who need to build their confidence, or for training young horses a longer booking inside the paddock is available.
There is a strict “3 strikes and you’re out” policy regarding poo picking/removal, with wildlife cameras to catch repeat offenders. No one wants to walk in dog waste or have their dog eating it and I don’t want it flicked in my face when mowing.
